Maranatha Baptist Church

Maranatha Baptist Church started in Boiling Springs, NC, in April of 1991, and was chartered in October of the same year. The church purchased some land a few miles to the west in Mooresboro, NC, and built a new church facility. Pastor Frank Camp became the pastor on the first Sunday of May, 1996, and two years later MBC built a second building and connected it to the first. Before long, we outgrew both buildings, and had to begin looking for a larger facility. We moved to the old Dover Baptist church building at 413 Polkville Rd in Shelby, NC in September of 2000. After merging with Davidson Memorial Baptist Church, we moved to our present meeting place in 2021.
